Welcome to the Eduxo WordPress Theme Documentation

Thank you for choosing Eduxo! We truly appreciate your purchase and support. As a valued customer, you’re entitled to free lifetime updates and top-notch support directly from the theme author.

This documentation is designed to guide you through every aspect of customizing your theme. Please read it thoroughly to understand how Eduxo is structured and how to make the most of it.

Theme Requirements

To use Eduxo smoothly, ensure your hosting environment meets the following minimum requirements:

  • WordPress version 5.0 or higher
  • PHP version 5.6.x or higher
  • MySQL version 5 or higher

We have tested Eduxo on macOS, Windows, and Linux. Please also ensure the following:

  • Your web host meets the basic WordPress requirements
  • You’re running the latest version of WordPress
  • You download WordPress from the official website
  • You use secure passwords for your FTP and database access

For improved security, make sure your server runs PHP under your account’s username instead of the default shared one (like www or www-data). Most hosting providers support this—ask them if you're unsure.

Recommended PHP Configuration

If you encounter issues like a blank screen, failed demo imports, or missing content, it could be due to low PHP configuration limits. Increasing these limits can fix most problems. You can do this yourself or ask your hosting provider to adjust the settings as follows:

max_execution_time = 600
memory_limit = 500M
post_max_size = 32M
upload_max_filesize = 64M

To check your current PHP limits, go to your WordPress Dashboard → Tools → Site Health → Info → Server.

Adjusting these settings ensures a smooth setup and helps prevent errors. For added security, always use strong passwords and keep your WordPress core and plugins up to date.

How to Get Support

  • Step 1: Click here to create an account. You'll need your purchase code, which you can find after buying the theme from templatemonster.com.
  • Step 2: After creating your account, log in to our Support Center using your new credentials.
  • Step 3: Before submitting a support ticket, please follow the recommended steps listed in the next section.
  • Step 4: To submit a new support request, click the Submit a Ticket button inside the Support Center.

Before Submitting a Ticket

To help us assist you faster, please follow these guidelines before opening a support ticket:

Step 1: Search the documentation and support articles first—your question may already be answered.

Step 2: If you don’t find a solution, prepare to open a ticket with the following information:

  • URL of your live site where the issue is visible
  • Your WordPress admin login credentials
  • Specify if you installed or updated the theme via FTP or WordPress admin
  • Detailed description of the issue you’re facing
  • Screenshots, if possible, to visually demonstrate the issue
  • Note: Our support team needs this information to assist effectively. Providing incomplete details may delay the resolution.
  • Please deactivate any third-party plugins that don’t come bundled with the theme. This helps us identify if the issue is caused by a plugin conflict. For safety reasons, our support team does not deactivate plugins on your site.

Before Update

  • Backup Your Website First: Always create a full backup of your site before making any updates. We recommend using the Duplicator plugin to easily backup and restore your website.
  • Remove Older Theme Versions: Don’t keep older versions of the theme in your WordPress themes folder. Always delete the old theme folder entirely before uploading the updated version. Avoid renaming the folder—WordPress stores widget and menu settings based on the original folder name. Renaming can cause settings to break or reset.
  • Clear All Caches: After updating the theme, be sure to clear your browser cache, plugin cache, and any server-side caching (such as Cloudflare or hosting cache systems). Visual or functionality issues after updates are often caused by outdated cached content.
  • Update the Child Theme (If Used): If you’re using a child theme and have copied templates from the parent theme, first switch to the parent theme to check if the issue exists there. If not, update the copied templates in your child theme to match the new parent versions.
  • Update Required & Recommended Plugins: After updating the theme, you may see a prompt to update required or recommended plugins. Make sure to install and activate these updates to ensure full theme functionality. These plugins are essential for certain theme features to work correctly.
